Mesut Ozil backs Arsenal for title challenge

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has claimed that his side are still capable of challenging for the Premier League title.

The Gunners are currently fifth in the table and sit 13 points behind leaders Chelsea.

Despite such a wide gap, Ozil believes that Arsenal have the qualities needed to win their first title in more than 10 years.

"We have a really strong team. People could see that once again against Stoke," Ozil told Sport1.

"So I don't see why we shouldn't finish right at the very top of the table. When you play football you should always have belief in yourself."

Ozil returned from a three-month injury layoff to feature against Stoke City at the weekend.
