Frimpong ruled out for two months

Arsenal have announced that midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong is expected to be on the sidelines for two months after undergoing knee surgery.

The 21-year-old was forced to have the operation following an injury he sustained while on loan at Fulham during their 3-0 win over Swansea City on the final day of the season.

Frimpong wrote on Twitter: "wanna thank everyone at fulham for their support but also is a great feeling to be back at arsenal. have a good day."
