Cologne quiet over Lukas Podolski transfer

Bundesliga side Cologne have refused to comment on reports linking Lukas Podolski with a move to Arsenal.

The 26-year-old is rumoured to have already agreed to join the North London club in a deal worth 10.9m, but Cologne have refused to confirm these reports.

"There is nothing to make any comment about, from the viewpoint of FC Cologne," a spokesperson told Dutsche Presseagentur.

The player's agent also refused to confirm or deny the reports, saying: "We are not out to make any official comment on this affair."

Podolski has scored 16 goals in 20 Bundesliga games so far this season.
