Eden Hazard should choose Arsenal over Tottenham Hotspur, according to Newcastle United's Yohan Cabaye.

Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye believes that former Lille teammate Eden Hazard should choose Arsenal over Tottenham Hotspur.

The two players were part of the Lille side that won the 2011 Ligue 1 title before Cabaye made the move to England. The Frenchman feels that if Hazard makes the same jump from France to England, his destination should be the red part of North London.

"Eden and England would go very well together," Cabaye said.

"Tottenham is a good club even if, right now, there are some troubles with the coach. Arsenal, it would be really good.

"Lille is quite similar to both in terms of game or mind. After, I do not know if he is in touch with Arsenal but I think it would be the right club for him."

Hazard recently played his 100th consecutive Lille game at the age of just 21.
