Nicklas Bendtner 'reveals he was sexually molested at 16'

Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner claims that he was sexually molested at the age of 16 by a friend.

Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has claimed that he was sexually molested at the age of 16 by a friend.

The incident, which the Dane describes in his upcoming autobiography Both Sides, happened on New Year's Eve in 2003, shortly before he made the move to North London.

Bendtner claims that after he declined his friend's invitation to snort some white powder, which he believes to have been crushed caffeine pills, he awoke to discover his friend touching him in a sexually intimate fashion.

The former Nottingham Forest frontman wrote: "It was an exaggerated evening.

"Silas has seen me with several girls already, so he knows I am a straight shooter.

"Still, I wake up knowing he's about to play with my d**k.

"I respond like any heterosexual teenager. Not that I beat him or anything, but I scold him like a madman."

Bendtner, who is currently plying his trade for Rosenborg in Norway, says that he and the individual involved in the incident are no longer friends.
