Arsenal will travel to India next summer to play two exhibition games against Indian Super League opposition, according to reports.

The Gunners hierarchy have allegedly made the decision to tour India because of the rise in popularity of English football since the arrival of several marquee players to the ISL.

According to the Daily Star, Arsene Wenger's charges have arranged to play friendlies against FC Goa and Mumbai City in the 2015 off-season.

Ex-Arsenal man Robert Pires is currently playing for Goa, while fellow Gunners alumni Freddie Ljungberg is turning out for Mumbai.
