Arsenal will reportedly fail to appoint Germany boss Joachim Low when Arsene Wenger eventually leaves the Emirates.

Arsenal will reportedly fail in their attempts to lure Germany manager Joachim Low to the Emirates when Arsene Wenger decides to leave the club.

While the North London outfit are keen to stand by the Frenchman, whose contract expires next season, they are thought to be considering long-term options.

Low is believed to have been high on the Gunners' wanted list, but the 53-year-old is expected to hold talks over extending his stay with the German Federation, according to the Daily Mail.

Despite the governing body's determination to keep hold of the coach, Low has yet to make a final decision on his future.
