Arsenal injury, suspension list and return dates for Bournemouth clash: Kai Havertz, Riccardo Calafiori updates

Havertz, Calafiori latest: Arsenal injury, suspension list for Bournemouth clash

Arsenal will return to Premier League action on Saturday evening with a home fixture against Bournemouth.

The Gunners suffered a 1-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday night and therefore have a mountain to climb in the second leg of the fixture next week.

Arsenal still have work to do when it comes to securing a top-five spot in the Premier League table, meanwhile, and they will be bidding to return to winning ways when the Cherries visit the Emirates Stadium.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Bournemouth, who shared the points in a 1-1 draw with Manchester United last time out.

Jorginho

Status: Out Type of injury: Chest Possible return date: Unknown

Jorginho was again unavailable for selection against PSG due to a chest injury, and there are concerns that the Italy international could miss the remainder of the campaign with the issue.

Gabriel Jesus

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Jesus is continuing his recovery from a serious knee injury; the Brazil international will not play again until next season, and it is believed that he faces an uphill task to be back on the field before the start of 2026.

Gabriel Magalhaes

Status: Out Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: Unknown

Gabriel will be sidelined for the remainder of the season with a hamstring issue, with his absence a devastating blow for the Gunners considering how impressive he has been alongside William Saliba in the middle of the defence.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Tomiyasu remains in the treatment room due to a knee injury, which required further surgery earlier this year, and the versatile defender will not be available for selection until the end of the year.

Kai Havertz

Status: Out Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: May 25 (vs. Southampton)

Havertz is ahead of schedule in his recovery from hamstring surgery, and there is a strong chance that the Germany international will make his comeback before the 2024-25 season concludes.

Riccardo Calafiori

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: May 3 (vs. Bournemouth)

Calafiori is on the verge of returning from the knee injury he sustained during the most recent international break, and there is a chance that he could back in the squad against Bournemouth.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for the Premier League match, with Thomas Partey available after missing Tuesday's game against PSG due to a European ban.
