Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Burnley

Arsenal injury, suspension list vs. Burnley

Arsenal will be aiming to build on their thrilling victory over Leicester City when they travel to Burnley for Saturday's Premier League showdown.

The Gunners only had two days to recover from their taxing Europa League win over Benfica in Greece, but they dominated proceedings at the King Power Stadium as David Luiz, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe found the back of the net following Youri Tielemans's opener in a 3-1 triumph.

However, Mikel Arteta's men remain 10th in the table despite their impressive win, with eight points separating the Gunners from the top four as things stand.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their trip to Turf Moor.

Emile Smith Rowe

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Hip Possible return date: Unknown

English playmaker Emile Smith Rowe went down a few minutes before the half-time whistle blew against Leicester with a suspected hip problem. Arteta has revealed that a scan on the area did not show a "significant" injury, but it would still be a surprise to see him turn out at Turf Moor.

Alex Runarsson

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Goalkeeper Alex Runarsson remains in the treatment room after suffering a knee strain in training, but the former Dijon man is now the Gunners' third-choice shot-stopper following the arrival of Mat Ryan.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this game.
