An ankle injury rules striker Lukas Podolski out of Arsenal's trip to Bayern Munich.

Arsenal will be without Lukas Podolski for tomorrow's Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.

The German international has failed to shake off an ankle problem and as a result will not be risked against his former club at the Allianz Arena.

However, manager Arsene Wenger has been able to call upon Lukasz Fabianski, Abou Diaby, Andrey Arshavin and Kieran Gibbs, all of whom have had recent spells on the sidelines with injuries.

The Gunners make the trip to Bavaria having lost the first leg 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
