Lisandro Martinez 'trying to force Manchester United move'

Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez is reportedly prepared to force a move to Manchester United this summer.

Arsenal and Man United have been battling it out for Martinez's signature, with both sides determined to add the centre-back to their squad.

The Gunners are supposedly confident of agreeing a deal, while United have made a €50m (£42m) bid for the Argentine.

According to The Mirror, Martinez is ready to force a move to United, with the defender losing patience with Ajax who are looking to receive £50m.

The Argentina international has reportedly expressed a desire to join United, and he could refuse to train if an agreement is not reached with Erik ten Hag's side.

Since joining Ajax in 2019, Martinez has made 118 appearances for the club, chipping in with six goals.
