Viktor Fischer scores for Ajax reserves

Ajax attacker Viktor Fischer stepped up his recovery from a hamstring injury by scoring for the club's reserve team yesterday afternoon.

The muscle complaint has kept the Dane on the sidelines for the last 13 months.

However, his 65-minute outing against a Borussia Dortmund Under-23 side, during which he found the net, has suggested that he is closing in on a return to senior action.

Marvin Honer also scored a brace for Ajax's second string, who lost the encounter 4-3.
