AC Milan rival Real Madrid for Micah Richards?

AC Milan have emerged as rivals to Real Madrid for the signature of Manchester City defender Micah Richards, according to reports.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu this summer following an impressive season in the Premier League.

However, talkSPORT understands that the Rossoneri have now declared their interest in Richards as they seek to replace Thiago Silva, who joined Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month.

Richards, who has come through the youth ranks at the Etihad Stadium, is currently on duty with Team GB at the Olympics.
