Simone Zaza's agent Christian Maifredi says that AC Milan have not made an offer for the Sampdoria striker currently on loan at Ascoli.

Simone Zaza's agent has dismissed suggestions that AC Milan have made an approach for the 21-year-old striker.

Zara is currently on loan at Serie B club Ascoli from Sampdoria, with whom he has a contract until the summer of 2014.

"Nobody from Milan has ever called me, so I can assure you that there is no meeting planned," Christian Maifredi told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

"I'll meet with Sampdoria next week, though, as they have formulated a new offer with regards to an extension.

"However, for now, the priority is for Simone to finish the season in the best way possible for Ascoli."

Zara joined Sampdoria from Atalanta in 2010.
