AC Milan not appealing Mario Balotelli ban

AC Milan have confirmed that they will not appeal the red card that Mario Balotelli received after the final whistle against Napoli on Sunday.

The striker was given a three-match ban by the Italian Football Association for confronting the referee following Milan's 2-1 defeat at the San Siro.

However, the Rossoneri have revealed that they will not try to overturn or reduce the sanction.

Balotelli has scored four goals in six matches for Milan so far this season.
