Diego Costa full of praise for Thibaut Courtois

Diego Costa has praised Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for his display in the 1-0 victory over AC Milan at the San Siro on Wednesday night.

Courtois made a number of important saves while it was goalless in the first leg of the Champions League last-16 tie, and his teammate was eager to recognise the performance when speaking after the game.

"Our best quality is our unity," Costa, who scored the only goal of the match, told reporters. "Courtois is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and he knows it. With a keeper like him, we feel more secure.

"We know that this is not finished yet. We have a good result but Milan are a great side and anything can happen. We are not going to be over-confident."

Atletico will defend their one-goal lead in the Spanish capital on March 11.
