Saturday's Scottish Premiership predictions including St Mirren vs. Hearts

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Scottish Premiership fixtures, including St Mirren vs. Hearts.

Aberdeen vs. Dundee Utd (Saturday, 3.00pm)

After beginning his tenure last weekend, Jim Goodwin will oversee his first home game as Aberdeen manager on Saturday, as they welcome Dundee United to the Pittodrie Stadium.

In the midst of a tough run of form, the hosts sit eighth in the Scottish Premiership table, while their visitors are three places but just three points better off.

We say: Aberdeen 1-1 Dundee United

While Dundee United have been the more impressive side this season and will come in with more momentum, a change in manager ofter leads to an upturn in results, and the atmosphere at the Pittodrie Stadium could be a fresh and excited one.

For that reason, we predict a share of the spoils with neither able to put the other to the sword in what could be a tense affair given the looming split of the league.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Dundee vs. Livingston (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Basement club Dundee will welcome Livingston to Dens Park for their Scottish Premiership encounter on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts have not won on home soil since New Year's Day, while the visitors are looking to extend their unbeaten away run to three games.

We say: Dundee 1-1 Livingston

Both Dundee and Livingston have endured inconsistent runs of form recently and will be keen to put a string of wins together to climb the table.

However, with little to separate these two teams, a score draw could be on the cards at Dens Park.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Ross County vs. St Johnstone (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Ross County will welcome St Johnstone to Victoria Park for their relegation battle in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

The Staggies currently sit four points above the danger zone but that gap could be cut to just one point if the Saints were to claim maximum points for the second successive game this weekend.

We say: Ross County 1-1 St Johnstone

St Johnstone's victory last weekend will have provided them with a much-needed boost as they head into the final third of the campaign and they will be confident of securing another win on Saturday.

The hosts, however, have fared much better on home soil and although both teams will be keen to claim three points, they may have to settle for a share of the spoils.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

St Mirren vs. Hearts (Saturday, 3.00pm)

St Mirren will be looking to move into the top four of the Scottish Premiership with a victory against Hearts in Paisley on Saturday afternoon.

The two teams are sure to take plenty of notes from this fixture before they face off against each other again in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup in two weeks' time.

We say: St Mirren 2-2 Hearts

Hearts have come out on top in both of their previous meetings with St Mirren this term, but Saturday's contest is set to be a much closer affair.

With the Saints heading into this fixture in much better form, they should be able to claim at least a point in an entertaining score draw on home soil.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.
