Scottish Premiership roundup: Inverness go top after St Johnstone win

Sports Mole rounds up Saturday's results in the Scottish Premiership as Inverness Caledonian Thistle top the table.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle have topped the Scottish Premiership with a 2-1 win over St Johnstone.

The hosts scored twice in five minutes after Marley Watkins and Ryan Christie's second-half goals. Brian Graham pulled one back for the visitors but it wasn't enough to share the spoils.

Ross County are the only side in the league without a point after Adam Rooney opened the scoring for Aberdeen on 20 minutes. David Goodwillie doubled the lead six minutes later before Peter Pawlett added a third five minutes after the interval.

Elsewhere, Hamilton Academical were held to a goalless draw at home to Kilmarnock.

Results in full: Aberdeen 3-0 Ross County, Hamilton 0-0 Kilmarnock, Inverness 2-1 St Johnstone.
