Jermaine O'Neal sustains knee, groin injuries

An MRI scan confirms that Jermaine O'Neal suffered injuries to his knee and groin at the weekend.

The Golden State Warriors have revealed that an MRI scan confirmed Jermaine O'Neal has sustained injuries to both his knee and groin.

The 35-year-old was hurt towards the end of his side's victory over the Utah Jazz on Saturday night and the Warriors have refused to set a date for his return to action.

O'Neal did not travel with the team on Monday as Golden State recorded a second win in three days over the Jazz.

Dewayne Dedmon has been signed from the franchise's affiliate D-League team to fill in for O'Neal during his absence.
