Former Golden State Warriors forward Stephen Jackson has retired from the NBA after 14 seasons in the league.
The 37-year-old was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in 1997, although he was released by the club and did not start a game in the NBA until 2000 when he joined the New Jersey Nets.
Jackson won the NBA Championship with the San Antonio Spurs in the 2002-3 season, but then moved around the NBA to the Atlanta Hawks, the Indiana Pacers, the Warriors, the Charlotte Bobcats, Milwaukee Bucks and finally with the LA Clippers in the 2013-14 season.
The veteran spent the 2014-15 season out of the game and as a result, has decided to end his career after not attracting a new club for the upcoming campaign.
Jackson averaged 15.1 points per game in his 14-year career.
