Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday night.

Spurs beat Stoke City 3-1 in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup on Wednesday but have lost their last two in the league to Liverpool and Leicester City.

A run of three Premier League matches without a win has seen Jose Mourinho's side drop into sixth position in the table, six points behind leaders Liverpool.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Wolves.

Giovani Lo Celso

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Giovani Lo Celso limped off the field against Leicester last weekend after picking up a hamstring problem, and the Argentine was not available against Stoke in the EFL Cup. Mourinho has since ruled the attacker out of the festive period, and it is unclear when he might be able to return.

Japhet Tanganga

Status: Out
Type of injury: Shoulder
Possible return date: Unknown

Japhet Tanganga suffered a shoulder injury against Royal Antwerp in the Europa League earlier this month and will not be available for selection until January at the earliest.

Gareth Bale

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: December 27 (vs. Wolves)

Gareth Bale had to be substituted against Stoke after picking up a calf issue in the first half; the issue is not believed to be serious, but he is a major doubt for the clash with Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

TOTTENHAM'S SUSPENSION LIST

Spurs have no players suspended for this weekend's contest.
