Schalke 04 midfielder Julian Draxler has revealed that he will fulfill a childhood dream when his side take on Real Madrid in the Champions League last 16.
The Royal Blues were drawn against the Spanish giants earlier today, with the first leg due to take place at the Veltins-Arena in February before the return leg at the Santiago Bernabeu in March.
The German side, who reached the semi-finals of the competition three seasons ago, will go into their match against Madrid as big underdogs, but Draxler is eagerly anticipating the tie.
"It could hardly have been any harder for us, but we'll rise to the challenge and I'm looking forward to both games," PA quotes Draxler as saying.
"It's a real Champions League highlight. It was always my dream to play against Real Madrid, and to play at the Bernabeu."
Schalke currently sit sixth in the Bundesliga table, five points off the top four.
