Sir Alex Ferguson makes three changes to his Manchester United side for their crunch Champions League match at FC Basel.

Manchester United welcome back captain Nemanja Vidic for their crunch Champions League group stage match at FC Basel.

The defender returns to the starting lineup following a two-match ban.

Ryan Giggs is also given a starting spot for the match in Switzerland having missed out in United's 1-0 win at Aston Villa on Saturday.

David de Gea is the third change to the side, coming in for Anders Lindegaard.

United need to avoid defeat tonight to secure their progression into the knockout stages of the competition.
