Wayne Rooney's horse finishes last again

Wayne Rooney's plunge into the world of horse ownership has continued to disappoint as Pippy finished last at Carlisle.

The colt came home at the back of the pack on debut in Chester last month and again failed to impress this afternoon.

Jockey Tom Eaves could do little as the two-year-old rode erratically by hanging on the left side of the track.

Manchester United and England forward Rooney has another horse in action as Tomway runs later this afternoon.
