Wrexham are reportedly close to signing Leicester City defender Conor Coady and Sheffield United forward Kieffer Moore.
With just over a week remaining before the start of the new season, the club's Hollywood owners are bidding to give Phil Parkinson and his squad the best chance of pushing for promotion to the Premier League.
A total of six players have arrived at the Racecourse Ground thus far, Wrexham shelling out a club-record fee to sign New Zealand international Liberato Cacace.
However, as per Sky Sports News, agreements are in place to make their most notable two additions of the summer transfer window.
Coady, Moore on way to Wrexham
The report alleges that Wrexham have agreed separate £2m deals to sign Coady and Moore from their respective clubs.
Although it is suggested that Coady is yet to agree personal terms, the defender is expected in Wales on Friday where he will undergo a medical.
Meanwhile, Moore finds himself in a similar situation, the experienced striker in line to become a star addition at Wrexham courtesy of his exploits for Wales.
While Leicester would have benefitted from Coady's leadership qualities in the Championship, their financial issues dictate that they cannot afford to turn down £2m for a 32-year-old.
Moore is of the same age but turns 33 next week, yet his arrival at Wrexham will be regarded as a major coup.
How does Coady's, Moore's recent game time look?
Coady racked up 22 appearances at Premier League level in 2024-25 and he will depart the King Power Stadium having made 43 appearances across two seasons.
Perhaps most notably, though, he has earned two Championship winners medals in the past, something that can only be a positive for the dressing room.
Moore contributed six goals from 30 games for Sheffield United last season, while he has a total of 59 goals and 15 assists from 200 games at Championship level.
He also has 14 goals from 49 games for Wales, Moore just two strikes short from entering the top 10 for all-time goalscorers for Wales.
In Craig Bellamy's 10 matches in charge, Moore has featured on six occasions, emphasising that he still has an important role to play at that level of football.
