Stale Solbakken planning another raid on former club Cologne

Wolves target second Cologne player

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Stale Solbakken has revealed that he is interested in signing Pedro Geromel from former club Cologne.

The Norwegian boss recently secured the services of Slawomir Peszko, who has joined Wolves on loan from the German club.

However, Solbakken has now stated his intention to compete with Sevilla and Celta Vigo for the signature of Brazilian centre-back Geromel.

"We are also to talk to Cologne about Pedro, of course," Solbakken told Cologne-based Express. "Those clubs from Spain are having financial troubles. Maybe it's a chance for us to step up and do it."

Geromel, 26, joined Cologne in 2008.
