Wolves 'considering formal offer for Jesus Corona'

Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly considering a summer bid for Porto attacker Jesus Corona.

The 27-year-old has been in impressive form for his Portuguese club during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring four times and contributing 18 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions.

Chelsea have recently been linked with the Mexico international, who is believed to have a €30m (£27m) release clause inserted into his current deal at the Estadio do Dragao.

However, according to A Bola, Wolves are also firmly in the hunt for the right-sided attacker and could launch an offer during this summer's transfer window.

Corona has scored four times and registered 11 assists in 29 Primeira Liga appearances this term.

The former Monterrey youngster has also been capped on 42 occasions by his national side, scoring seven goals, in addition to featuring at the 2018 World Cup.
