Southampton in for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Matt Jarvis

Southampton are said to be closing in on a deal for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Matt Jarvis.

The 26-year-old has attracted the interest of a number of Premier League clubs this summer, including West Ham United, Fulham and Stoke City.

According to the Daily Star, Saints are planning to table a £6m offer to bring the England international to St Mary's.

Fulham had a bid of around £4m rejected last week and are said to still be in the race for the midfielder.
