Robbie Keane recommends Ireland teammate Kevin Doyle to Colorado Rapids

Robbie Keane has recommended Republic of Ireland teammate Kevin Doyle to MLS club Colorado Rapids.

Keane played with Rapids coach Pablo Mastroeni at Los Angeles Galaxy and has told his former teammate to pursue a move for the Wolverhampton Wanderers striker.

"I highly recommended Kevin to him," the Birmingham Mail quotes Keane as saying.

"He would certainly do well over there. If he goes over there, it will be great for him.

"It will be great for the league, great for him, and I told Pablo that you could not wish to have a better person."

Doyle hasn't played for Wolves under Kenny Jackett this season.
