Jackett: 'No bids for Dominic Iorfa'

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has insisted that there is no concrete interest in young defender Dominic Iorfa.

The 20-year-old has been linked with several Premier League clubs, including South London side Crystal Palace.

However, Jackett has played down a potential summer exit for Iorfa.

"There's been enough speculation but we've had no bids or inquiries from clubs, which is good," he told BBC WM.

"That's not to say that we won't. We can only react when that happens. As a general principle, we want to work hard to keep our best players, if that is possible.

"We have one or two promising players here, which is a plus for us. But we would prefer to keep our best players and build around them."

Iorfa, an England Under-21 international, has made 44 appearances for Wolves this term.
