Jackett expects Sako stay

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett has revealed that he expects Bakary Sako to be at the club next season.

The Mali winger, 26, has been linked with a move to the Premier League following a string of impressive displays during Wolves' promotion-winning campaign last year.

However, Jackett insists that Sako remains in his plans for the team's return to the Championship.

"Sako is here, he's a good player who's settled at the club and I think he'll play well for us this season," he told the Express & Star.

"It will be exactly the same situation as before - he's a player who gets linked in the press and we understand that, but Bakary came back on Monday and there are no problems."

Wolves start their Championship campaign at home to Norwich City on August 10.
