Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Kevin Doyle has insisted that he does not want to leave the club.
The 30-year-old had been linked with a move away from Molineux during the summer following the club's relegation to League One.
"I don't want to be there for half a season and go and see the lads get promoted or win the league without me," Doyle told the Shropshire Star.
"I hadn't experienced playing in League One before and I was trying to get my head around it but when you're winning games, it's enjoyable.
"We're getting fantastic support – we're getting 20,000 at games so playing for Wolves and playing at home is exciting."
Wolves currently sit top of League One.
