Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has admitted that his side have little chance of catching Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers, who he believes will spend big again in January.
Cardiff currently sit in second place, four points behind Wolves and three points clear of third-placed Sheffield United.
Wolves made a number of big-name signings during the summer transfer window, and Warnock believes that their ability to spend again in January makes them favourites to win the title.
"It's doubtful because I would imagine they will spend another £20m in January if I'm honest," said the 68-year-old when asked if his side could catch the league leaders.
"But they've done it right and they play great football – I've watched some of the stuff they've played."
The Bluebirds face Norwich City at the Cardiff City Stadium on Friday evening.
