Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Nenad Milijas will serve a three-match ban after his red card at Arsenal is upheld by the Football Association.

Nenad Milijas will serve a three-match ban after his red card from the Boxing Day draw at Arsenal was upheld by the Football Association.

The Serbian midfielder was sent off by Stuart Attwell for a late challenge on Mikel Arteta but Wolves were unhappy with the decision, suggesting that if the Gunners players had not pressurised Attwell he would not have produced red.

Milijas will miss the New Year's Eve trip to Bolton, the visit of Chelsea and the trip to Birmingham City in the FA Cup.
