Jackett glad to give Hennessey minutes

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has said that Wayne Hennessey's loan move to Yeovil is in the "best interests of the club".

Hennessey today agreed a one-month move to Somerset where he will step in for Marek Stech, who fractured his hand against Birmingham on Saturday.

Hennessey featured for Wolves in pre-season but is only just returning from a cruciate knee injury.

"After 18 months out, I am pleased that Wayne has been given the opportunity to go and play some first team football," Jackett told Wolves' website.

"He has done all of the training sessions and has played in some of the pre-season fixtures but needs a regular run of games.

"It will be a good chance for Wayne to build up his match fitness, and is also in the best interests of the Club to see him enjoy some regular first team action."

Carl Ikeme is currently number one at Molineux.
