Kenny Jackett expects Notts County postponement

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett reveals that he expects next week's fixture with Notts County to be postponed due to international call-ups.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has revealed that next week's match with Notts County depends on the fitness of defender Matt Doherty.

If Doherty recovers from injury, Wolves could have five players being called up by their respective international squads, leaving the fixture open to the possibility of being postponed.

The 51-year-old told the Birmingham Mail: "Kevin Doyle and Sam Ricketts are definitely in and we are waiting on confirmation for the other three guys.

"They will all be in but Doherty has got to be fit, so there are five potentially and we know that they will all be in. I'm not sure whether the game will be off or not.

"We are going to have a discussion on it but it does seem that the potential is there to call it off if we want to. It does centre around Doherty being fit but we'll see."

Wolves are currently second in the League One table.
