Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has revealed that he is excited to see how his rebuilt team perform when the new season begins.
Jackett has brought several academy graduates into the Molineux club's squad during pre-season, including Leigh Griffiths and Jake Cassidy.
"I, personally, feel excited. They have a lot of work to do to be a good team but I also feel they have the appetite to put that work in to get where they want to go and that's to be a successful side," Jackett told the Shropshire Star.
"I don't think they are there yet – it's a work in progress. But there's an appetite about the place that when the task is put in front of them, they can match it."
Wolves play their first League One match against Preston North End on August 3.
