Wolves striker Kevin Doyle describes the side's last-minute resurgence against Swansea as "enjoyable".

Kevin Doyle has described Wolves's last-minute rally against Swansea at the weekend as "an enjoyable comeback".

The hosts were 2-0 down for most of the game, and heading for their sixth league defeat in a row, until goals from Doyle and Jamie O'Hara drew the scores level.

"To be honest it was looking very difficult with ten minutes to go," Doyle, 28, told the club's official website. "We just kept going, which is the good thing about us.

"It's been a tough few weeks and it would have been easy to give in but we didn't. And had we had another five minutes we might have actually won the game. After 80 minutes we want the game over and then after 90 we want as much added time as possible to try and win it."

Doyle added that he hoped the draw would signal a change of "luck and fortune" for the Midlands side, who now face Manchester City twice - first in the Carling Cup, then the league - in the next week.

"Those goals show we do have fighting spirit and hopefully it will turn things for us. There was no massive celebration in the dressing room. We've still drawn a game at home, which isn't brilliant against a team who will probably be in and around us this season."

Earlier, Wolves captain Roger Johnson told fans to blame the players, instead of manager Mick McCarthy, for the recent poor performance.
