League One Sheffield United await the winner of Wednesday's FA Cup replay between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Birmingham City.

It would be fair to say that the first match between these two sides at St Andrew's wasn't one for the purists.

Despite dominating large parts of the match and striking the post in stoppage time, Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers were unable to book their place in round four of the competition.

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy's main priority this season is league survival, which may be reflected in his starting lineup.

Leading goalscorer Steven Fletcher could be rested, providing Kevin Doyle with the chance to lead the line.

The visiting Blues also have other competitions on their mind, with boss Chris Hughton looking to secure promotion back to the top flight.

Nikola Zigic may start in attack for City, while young winger Nathan Redmond is also in contention for a starting spot.

The winner of the tie will travel to League One Sheffield United in the next round.

Current form:

Wolves: LDDDLD

Possible lineups:

Wolves: De Vries; Elokobi, Johnson, Stearman, Ward; Hammill, Jonsson, Frimpong, Hunt; Doyle, Ebanks-Blake.

Birmingham: Doyle; Spector, Caldwell, Davies, Ridgewell; Burke, Mutch, Fahey, Redmond; Zigic, King.
