Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo insists that his side will "bounce back" from their 2-0 defeat to Fulham at the weekend.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo has insisted that his side will "bounce back" from their 2-0 defeat to Fulham at the weekend.

The Championship leaders suffered their fifth loss of the campaign at Craven Cottage on Saturday as goals from Ryan Sessegnon and Aleksandar Mitrovic gave Fulham an eighth successive home win and a boost to their playoff hopes.

Nuno has said, however, that the team must refocus and find the solution to what went wrong in West London last time out.

"We can breath and refocus again," the manager told the Express & Star. "Fulham is over now. Now it's our work to analyse and Monday will be good for us – this week will be good for us.

"Of course we're going to fix the problems. When don't we do this? We always do it, we find the right solutions. The Championship is one of the most difficult competitions in the world, it's very, very demanding and a high challenge for us.

"We count on [the fans] on Saturday because together we are stronger. We're going to show the character and bounce back."

Wolves, who remain in top spot in the standings, play Reading in their next game on Saturday.
