Bas Dost unsure of Wolfsburg future

Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost admits that a lack of first-team action could see him leave the club in the New Year.

Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost has suggested that he could leave the club in January due to a lack of first-team action.

The 25-year-old scored his first goal of the season on Saturday during his side's 3-1 win over Hannover in the Bundesliga.

Despite second-placed Wolfsburg's impressive start to the campaign, Dost admits that he may need to look elsewhere to further his career.

"Everybody wants to be playing and I'm not playing very often so of course I'm not happy," he told Bild. "I don't know about my future. I'm going to enjoy this goal and then we can talk about other things."

Dost joined Wolfsburg from Heerenveen in summer 2012.
