The centre-back has been looking for pastures new after Canaries manager Chris Hughton revealed that the 27-year-old would not be part of his plans.

While Doncaster Rovers were said to be considering a bid for the defender, Barnett is closing in on a switch to the DW Stadium, according to Sky Sports News.
