Wigan Athletic complete Andrew Taylor signing

Wigan Athletic sign defender Andrew Taylor from Cardiff City on a three-year deal.

Wigan Athletic have completed the signing of defender Andrew Taylor from Cardiff City on a three-year deal.

The 27-year-old left-back leaves Cardiff following a three-year spell in South Wales.

"Wigan Athletic are a big club, with Premier League experience and big aspirations," Taylor told Wigan's official website. "The manager seems really good and I think his record when he came to the club last season speaks volumes.

"It's a fresh challenge for me and one I'm very excited about; I had three good years at Cardiff but everything has to come to an end and I'm looking forward to getting started at the DW Stadium."

Taylor made 19 appearances in all competitions for Cardiff during the 2013-14 campaign.
