West Ham, Palace looking to sign Sidibe?

West Ham United and Crystal Palace have reportedly both identified Monaco defender Djibril Sidibe as a potential summer signing.

Sidibe was part of the Monaco side which reached the Champions League semi-finals in 2017, which led to speculation regarding a switch to one of the top clubs in the Premier League.

However, L'Equipe claim that as it stands, only the Hammers and the Eagles are showing an interest in adding the 26-year-old to their respective squads.

The report claims that Monaco are prepared to accept offers in the region of €15m (£13.36m), significantly less than they were demanding two years ago.

West Ham require a long-term option on the right-hand side of their backline, while Palace have just sold Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United.

Sidibe has made a total of 108 appearances in all competitions during his three years at the Ligue 1 outfit.
