West Ham United are closing in on a £4.5m deal for Sochaux striker Modibo Maiga, according to the Daily Mail.
The Mali international has been tipped to make the switch from Ligue 1 to the Premier League in recent weeks.
Reading, Newcastle United and Stoke City also said to be interested in the 24-year-old.
Maiga has scored 24 goals in 59 games since moving from Le Mans in 2010.
