Latest transfer news and rumours: Lorenzo Pellegrini to West Ham, Largie Ramazani to Valencia, Marco Silva outlines Fulham transfer wish

Transfer news and rumours: West Ham eyeing Roma midfielder

West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini

The Hammers are looking for reinforcements after making a disappointing start to the new Premier League season.

West Ham lost 3-0 in their opener against newly-promoted Sunderland, before they were beaten 5-1 in Friday's home clash with Chelsea.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Hammers are interested in strengthening their midfield with the addition of Pellegrini.

The 29-year-old, who has lost the captaincy this season, has seemingly fallen out of favour following the managerial appointment of Gian Piero Gasperini

Roma's new boss has confirmed that Pellegrini will not be offered a new deal, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

West Ham are one of several clubs eyeing a potential move, although there is still a possibility that Pellegrini could decide to see out the final year of his contract.

Leeds winger closing in on La Liga switch

Meanwhile, Leeds United attacker Largie Ramazani is reportedly set to complete a loan move to Valencia.

The 24-year-old has struggled for regular game time since he joined Leeds from Spanish club Almeria last summer.

Ramazani settled for just seven starts in 29 appearances during the club's promotion-winning campaign, before being an unused substitute for the win over Everton on the opening day of the Premier League season.

The winger was left out of the squad for Saturday's 5-0 defeat to Arsenal as he closes in on an exit ahead of the summer transfer deadline.

According to Sky Sports News, Ramazani is expected to join La Liga side Valencia on a season-long loan deal.

The move will see the attacker play under former West Bromwich Albion boss Carlos Corberan, who has just started his first full season as Valencia head coach.

Ramazani previously made 62 La Liga appearances during his time with Almeria, scoring six goals and providing six assists.

Silva outlines Fulham transfer wish

Elsewhere, Fulham manager Marco Silva has revealed that he wants to sign three players before the transfer window closes for business on September 1.

The Cottagers have experienced an underwhelming summer window, having added just one new name to their squad since the end of last season.

Backup goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte represents the club's only new arrival, with Silva desperate to bolster his ranks in the closing stages of the market.

"We have eight or nine days to correct some things," Silva told reporters following Sunday's draw with Manchester United.

"We need to sign at least three players before the end of the market. We have a lot of games and have injuries; in some positions, we are short."

Fulham will be back in action on Wednesday when they welcome Bristol City to Craven Cottage for a second-round clash in the EFL Cup.
