Energie Cottbus striker Boubacar Sanogo has insisted that he is happy with life at the German club.
The 29-year-old joined the 2. Bundesliga outfit in the summer after leaving St Etienne, but his performances have attracted interest from West Ham United.
"I thank God for blessing me, I now have the joy of playing football again and of scoring goals," he told Sky Sports News.
"I went through a lot over the past two years, nothing worked for me. It has been difficult. Now all that is in the past. Being linked with a move to West Ham or any club is good, but I am very happy with my club. However, you never know in football.
"My ambition is to be part of the Ivory Coast team and play at the 2014 World Cup finals. That is my dream. I need to score more goals to get back into the squad."
Sanogo has struggled with injuries in the past two seasons.
