Report: Centre-back Winston Reid to sign new West Ham United contract

Winston Reid is edging closer to agreeing a new contract with West Ham United, according to reports.

The New Zealand international's current deal expires at the end of the season, and it was widely expected that he would join either Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.

However, the Daily Mail claims that Reid has been swayed to stay with the Hammers by the club's form this season and a much-improved contract offer.

Reid joined West Ham from Danish side FC Midtjylland in 2010.
