Mark Noble hails "massive" win against Cardiff City

Mark Noble says that West Ham United's 2-0 victory over Cardiff City was vital for the club.

West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble has expressed his delight with his side's 2-0 win over Cardiff City in the Premier League.

The Hammers claimed a vital victory in their battle against relegation and moved above the Welsh outfit in the table.

"That was massive. We have been poor lately, we have been embarrassed in the two Cup games recently and this is a tough place to come, but we have lost a man and still managed to win," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.

"Every shot they had went straight to our goalie and they had a deflected shot just stay out so we have had a bit of luck that we have not had recently.

"We have a good bunch of lads who work for each other and now with players coming back and we are looking forward to the next few games."

West Ham are currently 17th in the league table.
