West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison has admitted an FA charge following comments that he made on Twitter.
The 19-year-old was charged on Wednesday for "use of abusive and/or insulting words including a reference to a person's sexual orientation".
The former Manchester United youngster claimed at the time that he was responding to racial abuse from another user on the social networking site.
The FA will now decide on a punishment for the player.
Morrison moved to Upton Park from United last month.
